Pride 48 is a resource for the GLBT community. Whether you are a content producer or a content consumer, we'd love to add your voice to our server.
ListEners
There are four ways to help us out (and three of them are completely free!)
- Send us a "promo". A promo is just a recording of your voice saying something as simple as "Hi, this is YOURNAME You are listening to Pride 48"
or up to a minute of whatever you would like (without being vulgar, mean-spirited, or advertising something outside of the scope of web-based shows). You can
record an audio file and e-mail it to us (programming(at)pride48(dot)com), call our voicemail number at (206)666-5172, or record an AudioBoo with the tag "Pride48".
- Suggest new Music. We only play Creative Commons, and independent music that we have permission to play on our server. Our main resource for finding
music that we can play are websites like Jamendo.com and ANTIQCOOL. There are literally tens of thousands of songs available for us to play, we just don't have the
time to find them all. If you find a song that is either in the Creative Commons or from an independent artist that will permit us to play it, send a link to
programming(at)pride48(dot)com and let us know about it so that we can see if it can be added to our rotation.
- Suggest new Shows. It simply is not possible for us to be aware of every GLBT-friendly show on the internet. If you know of a show that you think
would be a good addition to our streaming lineup, then let us know about it. Send an e-mail to programming(at)pride48(dot)com with the Show name, contact e-mail
and a website address and we will reach out to them.
- Make a donation. It isn't expensive to keep the doors open, but it definitely isn't free. Every dollar of donated money is used to pay for our servers,
equipment, and the software needed to operate. You can make a one time donation (in any amount), or click on the subscribe button for a $5 monthly donation (you can
cancel at any time). We really do appreciate your support.
Producers
If you produce a GLBT-friendly internet show or are an independent music artist that would like to be heard on Pride 48, send an e-mail to programming(at)pride48(dot)com
and let us know about you. We update our content schedule once a month and are always looking for new shows to add to our line-up. There is no cost involved with being added
to our list of shows, and it is yet one more way to expose your work to the world.
